In September 2027, 10 amputee climbers and 5 elite prosthetists will summit Mount Kilimanjaro — Africa’s highest peak at 19,341 feet. All 15 team members are drawn from the Hanger community and selected by a joint panel from the Walk Foundation and Hanger Foundation across 900+ clinics nationwide. Supported by Neuro20’s groundbreaking wearable neuromuscular technology, this climb is a declaration of what is possible when human resilience meets world-class care and innovation.
